Meet Mrs. Gilbert

Hello Coyotes! 

I am thrilled to be one of your counselors at Wiley Middle School. 

This is my 20th year in Leander ISD and my fourth year at WMS.  I am the counselor for 7th grades students, but please know I am here for ALL students. 

I decided to become a school counselor in order to be an advocate for all students while supporting their academic, social, and emotional needs. My goal is to provide all students will skills to help them excel in life. 

I obtained my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Texas at Austin. I then earned a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. I have a wonderful husband, Mark, and our two amazing kiddos, Kennedy and Trace. We are blessed and grateful. 

When I'm not at school, you can find me cheering on my kids at the baseball and softball field. If we aren't there, you will find us on the lake, at the ranch, or at a Texas football game!
