My name is Katie Finley, and I am the Instructional Coach at Laura Welch Bush Elementary! This is my 12th year as an educator and my 7th year at LWBE!

I grew up in the small town of Graham, Texas! While growing up in Graham, I enjoyed playing many sports including: soccer, basketball, softball, and cross country. After high school, I went on to attend Tarleton State where I graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in education. I later earned my master's degree in education from Concordia University.

A few years ago, I published my first children’s book, and I am so excited to share it with students and their families!  I  hope my book reminds kids and adults to be proud of who they are.

My husband, Rob, and I moved to Steiner Ranch back in 2018, and we love living in this amazing community! It is also nice to live right down the street from school. We have two sweet boys who cannot wait to be at LWBE one day!  We also have three sweet, energetic dogs.
