Welcome to 2nd Grade! My name is Mrs. Whitted, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!

This is my 20th year of teaching, and I truly love helping young learners grow both academically and personally. Throughout my career, I have taught Pre-K through 2nd grade, and I feel fortunate to have spent my years working with some amazing students and families.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 8 years, and together we have three wonderful children. My oldest son, Nate, is 21 years old and is attending college in Utah. My middle son, Ciaran, is 12 years old and is a 7th grader at Legacy Ranch Middle School in Liberty Hill. My youngest, Avery, is 7 years old and will be in 2nd grade here at our school this year!  I also have a French Bulldog, Axel who is 7 years old and my cat Nala who is 16 years old.

I believe that strong partnerships between home and school are the key to a successful school year. I look forward to getting to know your family and working together to make this an exciting, fun, and successful year for your child.
