About Me

Hello! My name is Lisa Stringer and I'm thrilled to be your student's 5th grade Teacher! This is my 5th year at RPE and my 7th year in LISD. I've taught SPED, Kinder, 3rd, 4th and 7th grades in Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. I've lived in Austin since 2008 with my husband of 30 years, Bobby, and our daughters Mollie (26), Chloe (26) and Lily (18). Chloe  graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2021 and is attending The Clinton School to earn her Master's in Public Service. Mollie graduated from Mississippi State University in 2021 and lives in Memphis.  Lily will start her freshmen year at The University of Arkansas this fall. We also have 2 fur babies, Sami and Charli. They are mini Aussies and can be very naughty at times. I love traveling, reading, shopping and relaxing in the pool.
