Classroom Expectations
Be on Time: Be in class and seated when the bell rings. Once the bell rings, there is no more talking during warm-up and/or announcements.
Be Prepared: Get out all of your materials for class before the bell rings.
Class Timing: Do not ask to leave the first 10 minutes or the last 10 minutes of class.
Start Promptly: There will be a warm-up on the screen most days; as soon as you get your guide out, take your seat and start the warm-up when the bell rings.
Follow the Agenda: The agenda will be on the board; it will tell you what you are doing in class for the day. Write any important information in your planner daily if you would like.
Submit Work Properly: Turn your work into the turn-in box.
Makeup Work: When you are absent, check to see what work you need to make up. Check Google Classroom, your Travel Guide, ask a classmate or look on the board before asking Mrs. Shukla.
Bring Supplies: Bring a writing utensil to class every day (pen or pencil), but do not use the color red to complete any schoolwork.
Use Class Supplies: Class markers, highlighters, colored pencils, and other supplies are stored in the classroom supply boxes.
Restroom Policy: You must ask to use the restroom. Make sure to fill out your hall pass before you leave and take the appropriate lanyard with you.
Respect Personal Space: Do not go behind Mrs. Shukla’s desk without permission.
Food and Drink: You may not eat any food or drink colored liquids in class without permission. (Water acceptable)
Clean Up: Make sure to put all materials away in the correct space before you leave.
HAVE A GREAT YEAR!!!
