Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the new school year! My name is Patrick Kelly, and I am thrilled to join the Henry Middle School family this year as a 7th-grade Inclusion teacher.
This year marks my 15th year in education. Before becoming a Hawk, I spent 14 wonderful years teaching in Round Rock ISD. My educational journey began at Baylor University, where I earned a Bachelor of Music Performance in 2007. More recently, I fueled my passion for supporting all students by completing my Master of Education degree at Lamar University. I am deeply dedicated to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every student can thrive, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
On a personal note, education runs deep in my family. My wife, Courtney, has been a choir director in Leander ISD for 19 years. This is a milestone year for our family, as our daughter, Piper, is starting Kindergarten! We also share our home with Winnie, our sweet pup who was born on the 4th of July 2025.
Music and teaching are my lifelong passions. Outside of the public school system, I have taught private voice and guitar out of my home studio for 21 years. When I am not teaching or making music, you can usually find me watching football, fishing, or writing and performing songs.
I am super excited to be a part of the Henry Middle School community and cannot wait to collaborate with you to support your child's success.
Go Hawks!
Warmly,
Patrick Kelly
