Material covered is in alignment with TEKS for 11th grade United States History. This course will be a survey of the American experience from the Reconstruction era (ca. 1877) to present day. Topics will include the American Industrial Revolution, Westward Expansion, Progressive Reform Movements, World War 1, the Great Depression, World War II, the Cold War, Civil Rights Movement, and  social conditions of the 50's through the New Millennium.

• Highlighters

Textbooks will be available in classroom for students during class time. Work that requires the textbook from home will be available on McGraw Hill
