Coach Guzman

Hello!

My name is Marissa Guzman and I am the AVID I, II, III, IV teacher. Along with teaching I am also the head softball coach and an assistant athletic coordinator on campus! This is my 15th year of teaching, 11th as a Glenn Grizzly. I am originally from the Houston area, but made my way to Austin to play softball at St. Edward's University where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. We have a little three little boys, 7,5, and 11 months old and they love the coaches kid lifestyle! I love teaching and coaching and being able to make a difference in students' lives on a daily basis! Looking forward to a great year both in the classroom and with athletics!
