Hello!

My name is Mrs. Rodriguez and I am so excited to be your Theatre teacher this year. This is my eleventh year teaching, and my sixth year at LMS. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with degrees in English Education and Theatre, and with my masters in Educational Theatre from New York University. I spent all my time onstage- especially in musicals- and some of my favorite shows have been The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Xanadu, Clue: The Musical, and Cinderella. 

I grew up in Oklahoma and lived in New York for a bit, but I've been in the Austin area for about nine years now. When I'm not directing or watching productions, you can almost certainly find me reading too many books, watching too many movies, spending too much money on traveling, or talking too much about my daughter and my cats. I love watching sports (but not playing them), going to concerts and the movie theatre, and going on and on about the things and people I love.
