Grading Policy 

MAJOR ASSESSMENTS -60%

Projects, Quizzes, and Final Assessments

There will be a quiz every other Friday within a 6 weeks.  Occasionally, there will be a project to accompany learning. 

All students will have an opportunity to improve their grade on a quiz, within 5 days of the original quiz.  The quiz will be offered in a different format, however will be over the same material.  Students who do not take advantage of this retake opportunity will have another chance to show mastery on the final assessment.  However, no retakes will be offered for the final assessment.

DAILY WORK/ HOMEWORK/ PROJECTS - 40%

Typically,  there will be several daily/homework/project assignments per grading period.  Grades in this category can not be made-up.

LATE WORK POLICY

LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED UP TO 1 DAYS AFTER THE ORIGINAL DUE DATE WITH A 30 POINT DEDUCTION AFTER OND DAYS, IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RECORDED AS A 0% IN THE GRADEBOOK, WHICH CAN NO LONGER BE MADE UP. (EXCEPTIONS HAPPEN AND WILL BE HEARD)
