Kara Yee

 My name is Kara Yee, Administrative Assistant to Dr. Keith Morgan, Principal of Vista Ridge High School. I am honored to be working at Vista Ridge High School and to be a part of the Ranger family.  I have had the privilege of working in Leander ISD since 2016 in various positions: as an AVID tutor, VRHS Attendance Clerk, VRHS Bookkeeper, and now I have the honor of partnering with Dr. Morgan. The 2025-2026 school year will be my ninth year at Vista and I am looking forward to another great year at the Ridge.  

I grew up in the Austin area, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA (Hook 'Em), then moved to the Houston area with my husband, Peter. After 16 years in Houston, we gratefully moved back to the Austin area. We are the very proud parents of 3 kiddos! Our oldest is powering through her fourth year at Colorado State University studying neuroscience. Our twins are in 12th grade at Vista and "love having mom at school ALL the time"... said no teenager ever!

A few things I enjoy: spending time with family and friends, hiking, relaxing at the lake, reading, traveling, and working out!
