Labeled, non-condensation water bottles are welcomed in the classroom.
Students are also encouraged to bring a healthy “working” snack.
Habit #2 Begin With the End in Mind
Remember WHY the children are eating a snack. It is to REFUEL their brain and body.
The best choices for healthy snacks are:
protein based (cheese sticks, yogurt, hummus, etc.),
fruit, veggies, muffins, or a small sandwich or tortilla roll up.
As we all know, chips, cakes, brownies, cookies are desserts, not healthy snacks. Candy isn't a snack. (I know...bummer)
