UIL Mathematics, Number Sense and Calculator Applications meets once a month. Most communication will be sent through the Google Classroom Code recqspq.
UIL Mathematics, Number Sense and Calculator Applications is open to any Vista Ridge Student. In order to qualify for the district meet, you must attend at least two of the Spring Invitationals and have one of the 6 highest scores for our school in that event. Practice for UIL Academics is on your own time. I will have practice materials posted for you on our Google Classroom and you may access released practice tests on the State of Texas UIL Academic Webpage. We have been very successful in recent years, and we would love for you to come out and compete to represent Vista Ridge High School.
For the 2026-2027 school year, details about competition dates are still in progress, but below were the competition dates from last year, and that might give you an idea of how many competitions we have and around what dates.
