I graduated from UTSA in 1994 with a B.S. in Mathematics with an emphasis in Education.

I started my teaching career in 1994 in San Antonio, Texas and I'm excited to start my 23rd year in the classroom. I've had the opportunity to teach at every level: elementary school (2nd and 4th grades), middle school (6th, 7th, and 8th grades), and high school (freshmen - seniors).

In the classroom I treat all students the way I want my own children to be treated. I hold my students to high standards but I support them along the way.

My daughter Riley just graduated from Texas Tech this August with a degree in Supply Chain Management and a minor in Accounting. Jude will be starting his junior year at Texas Tech. He is pursing a degree in Business.
