Background Info
I'm originally from Lubbock, Texas, and I worked as an educator there for 13 years before moving to the Austin area. My sweet husband Marc and I were married December 2019, and we happily live with our sweet dogs, Holly & Indy.
I moved from the classroom to the Library after 9 years of teaching (math and social studies). This will be my 14th year as a middle school librarian & my 23rd in education! I absolutely ❤ working in the Library and look forward to connecting our students with books!
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Texas Tech University in 2002 and my Master of Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas in 2013!
