Class Vision

This year, we'll explore exciting science topics including thermal energy, plate tectonics, sound, classification of living things, and my personal favorite, cells & systems! Using OpenSciEd, we'll investigate each of these areas in depth, beginning with our first unit: Thermal Energy.

My teaching style is student-centered, allowing you to actively participate in my classroom. My teaching philosophy centers around creating an engaging, hands-on learning environment where students feel excited about discovering the world around them. My goal this year is to inspire my students to ask questions, think critically, and explore the wonders of science.
