You may now pay for lost and damaged books online through our new "Edpay Webstore!" Directions for how to use the Edpay Webstore are here. If you have a LISD Edpay account from another campus (middle or high school) you can use the same login information.
Check Out Information
All books have a two-week checkout time.
PreK - Kindergarten students may check out one book at a time.
1st-2nd grade may check out up to two books at a time.
3rd-5th grades may check out up to four books at a time.
All students are encouraged to take books home to read. Students are welcome to arrange checking out additional titles with their campus librarian.

Students and teachers may check out up to three digital books on Sora, our digital reading mobile app.
Lost & Damaged Library Material
We understand that accidents happen. If a library book becomes damaged, we ask for students to report the damage so that we can repair it. Please do NOT attempt to repair the book at home.
If a book becomes damaged beyond use, we ask for the student to pay the replacement cost in order to purchase that book again for the library collection.
For lost/damaged library books, the library can accept online payments, exact cash payments, personal checks. Please include phone and driver's license #'s and make the check to "Grandview Hills Elementary" and reference "lost/ damaged library book(s)."
If a book is lost, we ask for the students to pay for the lost book; if the lost book is found and returned within the same school year, money will be refunded to the student.
Inter-Library Loans
Per 22/23 Student Handbook Updates, the following change was made regarding inter-library loan requests (ILLs)
Students may request to borrow materials from any library in Leander ISD so long as the library matches the same grade level or lower. (Ex: elementary student borrowing from another elementary library or middle school student borrowing from another middle school library or an elementary school library) Should a student want to borrow from a grade level span higher than the current grade span assigned, parent permission would be required via a digitally signed form. All ILL requests are made through the student’s home campus librarian, and all items will be checked out and returned through the student’s home campus library. ILL items may only be renewed once and lending libraries may deny renewals for high demand items. Students who fail to return interlibrary loan items on time may have ILL privileges restricted or denied.
