Student Beliefs

I believe attitude is everything!  Every student will be successful when they learn that mistakes are okay and persevere through challenges.  My job is to motivate and encourage students to consistently do their best.

What is Gateway?

2 separate year long courses for 7th and 8th graders that are high school credit!

Computer Science - Gateway Computer Science for Innovators & Makers and Gateway App Creators

Engineering - Gateway Design & Modeling and Gateway Automation & Robotics

What is Exploring S.T.E.M.?

A one semester course for 6th graders to investigate different aspects of S.T.E.M.

Grading

100% of students’ grades will be in the “Assignments” category. The following items may be included depending on the current unit of study:

• Daily Work

• Assessments

• Projects

A student can redo an assignment by the end of the 6 weeks for a maximum grade of 80.
