Technology Troubleshooting

1.       Restart your computer before seeking help. This will solve most issues!

2.       Battery issues

   Is your power cord working?

• • • • • Try a friend’s cord.

        • Be sure the two parts of the power cord are connected.  You should hear a snap when they connect.

        • Be sure the outlet is working.  Try a different outlet.

3.       Login issues

a.      Check with your teacher.

b.       If you still have problems , see Ms. Harrison. 

4.        Add printer

·      On your desktop, click on the Internet Explorer icon that says "Printers" under it.

·      Click on Stiles Middle School

·      Click on SM-LIBR printer (or whichever printer you want to add)

·      Click “Yes”

 Close window after installation is complete.  Go to the document you want to print and print.  Be sure to choose the SM-LIBR printer in the Print menu.
