New Students

welcome to FPMS

Now that your child is registered, what's next? 

There are a few more steps you need to complete to ensure your child has a great first day at FPMS. 
Please complete the six steps below before your child comes to campus.

Breakfast & Lunch   Register to set up your student's lunch account. This is where you can deposit/transfer money for your student to purchase breakfast & lunch. Need to apply for free and reduced lunch? Complete the free and reduced lunch application.  Please create an account with LINQ Connect if you would like to add snack money or additional lunches for your child to enjoy.

 mLISD (student laptops)  In middle school and high school, students are required to bring a laptop to school every day.  They may bring their device or they may rent one through the school.  The non-refundable deposit  is $40 for the year or $0 for students receiving Free and Reduced meals.  Please complete the application to begin the process.

 Transportation  If your child will ride the bus, please notify the Registrar.  You can find your child's route number (morning and afternoon) as well as the times of pick up and drop off and the location by clicking here.  Please register for Smart Tag and complete the Transportation Google Form.

 Home Access Center  HAC is the online tool Leander ISD uses for parents and students to check grades, schedules, attendance, and assignments. To register please follow the directions on this link.

 Remind Account  This is the district's notification platform.  You can download the application and set your contact preferences to receive messages from our campus as well as from the district.


Bell Schedule  & Calendar  Our school's website is kept up to date with the latest news, events, and important dates.  Please visit the website to see information such as bell schedules, school calendars, and much more.


Course Selection Form
 Please complete the course selection form. If multiple students are enrolling at FPMS, please keep in mind that you must fill out a form for each student. If you have any questions, please get in touch with one of our counselors at 512-570-3700.
Also note that if your student is planning to join any sports activities, a Sports Physical form must be filled out by their healthcare provider. If you need access to this form, please click here.
