My name is Felicia Floyd, and I am honored to serve as Dyslexia Specialist at Running Brushy Middle School.

I am a native Texan with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas. I hold a master's degree with a Learning Therapy Specialization from Southern Methodist University where I also received intensive graduate-level training to obtain my Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) certification.

Prior to coming to Leander ISD, I was an ESL elementary teacher in Dallas ISD where I spent several years in the classroom, as well as providing dyslexia therapy in private practice. After staying home with my four beautiful children for a time, I have since returned to the classroom at the middle and elementary school level in the area of dyslexia intervention.
