Social Emotional Learning

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! School counselors and teachers are here to provide opportunities for all children to grow and learn new ways to strengthen their social/emotional skills and cope with feelings .

In LISD, we use the curriculum from Second Step to promote social/emotional learning. There are 4 main units: skills for learning, empathy, emotion management, and problem solving.
