Graduate of Texas State University 2021, Magna Cum Laude.
Member of Alpha Psi Omega, National Theatre Honor Society.
Obtained a BFA in Theatre with Teaching Certification All Level.
The 2025-2026 school year will be her fifth year teaching post-undergrad.
While obtaining her BFA and teaching certification, she worked as a freelance teaching artist for K-12, a director, and a stage manager/technician for various performing art schools and university classes.
She and her wife have three fur-babies! Their dogs Daisy and Lilac, and cat Jimmy.
When she's not teaching Ms. Ashton can be found trying to bake like they do on The Great British Bake Off, serenading her pets with Broadway classics, and going to see plays in the Austin area.

Ms. Ashton was born in Manhattan NYC, then lived in North Carolina for a year before she and her family settled in Kinsale, Ireland. While living in Ireland she had the privilege of visiting many neighboring countries. They then moved to Austin while Ms. Ashton was in the 7th grade, attending middle and high school in Eanes ISD. When she started at Texas State University in San Marcos, her parents and sister moved to Albuquerque NM, and she loves traveling to visit them.
She was a Teaching Artist at the ZACH Theatre Performing Arts School from 2017-2019. While working at the ZACH Theatre Performing Arts School she assistant directed several shows. Both contemporary and classical plays for 6th-12th grade students. Ms. Ashton has also assistant directed for the Texas State University Shakespeare Ensemble, lead by TXST faculty Nick Lawson. While in college Ms. Ashton worked as a PACE Peer Mentor and she's participated in several university plays and musicals as a performer, technician, and crew member. During the 2021-2022 school year she taught and directed in Killeen ISD and now she's been happily teaching at Four Points Middle School since the 2022-2023 school year.
