Developing a campus Google Site portfolio template can be a powerful way to build community. Some key tips:
Start the site in a Shared Drive. This way it is accessible to the team.
Use Content Blocks and Placeholders. These provide blank spaces students will fill in with their own content.
Consider the questions you want students to answer as they build their portfolio.
Allow multiple ways for students to show their learning, thinking, and personality.
When your template is ready to share, go to sites.google.com. Click on the Template Gallery, then Submit a Template.
