Arrival/Dismissal Procedures
Arrival Procedures- Students enter the building through the academic wing doors, doors near cafeteria, or athletic wing doors. Doors are open from 7:40-8:10 a.m. Parents driving students to school will drop their student(s) off in the front of the building (parent drop off and pickup area). Front Office doors are open 7:40 a. m. to 3:50 p.m.
Bus Routes -Bus times and bus stop information are posted on the Leander ISD Website under the Bus Information tab. Students who are attending their zoned schools of attendance and who reside two or more miles (as measured along the shortest route that may be traveled on public roads) from their assigned campuses are eligible for transportation services at district-designated stops. To establish your student as a bus rider, a bus pass will be needed. Please contact your grade level counselor for information regarding bus passes.
Departure Procedures- Students are dismissed from class at 3:25 p.m. Car riders are typically picked up at the front of the school and bus riders will exit on the side of the building near the football fields. Please arrange a location to meet with your student prior to their first day transitioning back.
Lunches
Each grade level has two lunches, Blue and Gold. Please refer to Bell Schedule to know which lunch you have. Students walk with their classes to lunch.
Students can eat lunch in the cafeteria free of cost, or bring their own lunch from home. Students who eat lunch on campus need to be prepared to use their ID numbers.
Supplies
We do not offer Lockers this year at CRMS.
Students can bring their backpacks to school. Please make sure to bring a water bottle (to use for the water filling stations), computer, computer charger and head phones. TIP: Some students find it helpful to have a A-day and B-day back pack.
