The Robotics club at CRMS inspires students to pursue STEM careers by engaging them in hands on robot design and coding. The robotics club also helps students learn important life skills, such as problem solving, team work, innovation, and gracious professionalism through competitions, meetings with mentors in the STEM field, and community outreaches.
FLL purpose - First Lego League (FLL) focuses on sparking early STEM curiosity for kids K-8, helping build engineering and coding skills, while teaching teamwork and perseverance.
FTC purpose - First Tech Challenge (FTC) guides middle school and high school students how to build, program, and operate more complex robots. FTC connects students with adults in the STEM industry, mainly focusing on real world technical skills that help them learn more STEM proffessions and how they can improve their robot.
