Show Rules
Classes will be broken by breed and weight division; goats will be classed by weight only.
Exhibitors will mark their show weight and classification on their weight cards. If an animal is deemed in the wrong class by the show judge, that animal will be moved to the correct classification and weight group. Breed classification is at the discretion of the judge, no classifiers will be present at the show.
It is the judge's discretion to weigh an animal to verify that they are in the correct class. Weigh-back tolerance will be plus or minus 5 pounds for lambs/goats and 10 pounds for swine. Animals that are found outside of the weight tolerance will be moved to the correct weight class.
**New for the 2024 Show** Showmanship will be broken down into age divisions for each species. We will not have a pee-wee age division for showmanship, students that wish to participate in showmanship that are younger than 3rd grade will be allowed to compete in the junior division. Showmanship entry is included in the entry fee for the jackpot show, to compete in showmanship you must have an entry to the show.
Senior Division - Grades 9-12
Intermediate Division - Grades 6-8
Junior Division - Grades 3-5
Pens will be set up inside the barn directly across from the wash racks. These pens will have water access, and limited electrical access. Due to our limited space for trailer parking, we will not guarantee that everyone has the opportunity to show off of their trailer. There will be a set number of trailer spaces offered to exhibitors, once filled we will require animals to be unloaded and shown out of the provided pens.
Parking spaces in front of the facility are reserved for Judges, handicapped parking and vehicles used in running concessions.
Animals must be in good health to enter and participate in the show. Animals with signs of illness or active fungal infections will not be allowed to enter the facility and participate.

We have limited space for trailer parking, there is nothing that we can do to increase the space of our facility. Once the available space is used, we will required animals to be unloaded into the provided pens inside the barn. We have a designated space to park unloaded trailers behind the facility.
What happens if unloading animals goes up to or past 8:30?
If entries/weight cards are late due to traffic unloading animals we will push back the show start time to accommodate this. Entries or weight cards turned in after the delayed set time time will not be accepted.
Yellow Zones: Trailer parking for animals shown off the trailer. (Will be allowed for vehicle parking if space allows, once the show has begun).
Red Zone: Trailer overflow; this is where trailers will park for those showing out of the provided pens on the east side of the barn (left side on the image) or once other parking is full. We have a path behind the barn to access this area more quickly and easily.
Blue Zones: vehicle parking for guests, no trailers.
Parking Information
All parking is first come, first served. Trailers will be parked in the red zone once all yellow zone parking is claimed. There will be volunteers to help maximize the yellow parking area to limit how many trailers need to park in the red zone.
These are volunteers trying to help, please be patient and courteous as we handle getting animals into the show.
There will be a courtesy shuttle to transport guests and show tack from the red zone to the barn.
Unloading Instructions:
Enter the road to the project center off of Cypress Creek Rd.
Stop at the area marked with an orange star. Once the volunteer here gives you the go-ahead, proceed along the marked path.
The yellow star marks the unloading area. The green zone is where covered pens will be provided for those not showing off a trailer. These pens are inside the barn on concrete.
After unloading, follow the marked path around the back of the facility and exit through the West side gate.
