About Coach Quintero

Cedar Park High School is excited to announce Michael Quintero as the Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach. Coach Quintero has been an educator and coach for 22 years with stops at Gruver, Amarillo Palo Duro, Wichital Falls, Cedar Park, Colleyville Heritage High Schools and most recently as the Head Football Coach at Red Oak High School.

Coach Quintero says his vision for this program is "To uphold "The Standard” that supports a culture of social responsibility, academic excellence, superior strength and conditioning, and most importantly servant leadership. As a coach and mentor, my number one job is to serve your student athletes, this school, and community. The most important job I have is to coach young men how to be great husbands, fathers, and community leaders. “The Standard” I plan on coaching our young men to model is that of Integrity, Honesty, Accountability, Self-Sacrifice, and Self-Control. These character traits will be the foundation of our program".

Coach Quintero and his wife, Tara, are parents to Maddox (2-years) and Avery (7-months). They are excited to make their home in Cedar Park!
