About Coach Leake

My name is Jesse Leake and this will be my 11th year at Vista Ridge High School. I'll be teaching Principles of Biomedical Sciences, and serving as the sponsor of the HOSA team, NHS, and coaching softball and football.  This is is my 17th year in education.  I spent my first six years in Oklahoma at before moving to the Austin area prior to having our first kid.  

My wife and I love our little ones, they keep us on our toes constantly but we've enjoyed having them be apart of ours and the Ranger Family.  They love coming to Pole Vault practice, track meets, and football games to see their friends play for Vista Ridge.  

While in COLLEGE studies Secondary Education, Science Education, Music, Vocational Ministries, and Physical Education.  I also completed in Track & Field in the Pole Vault, Javelin, and Decathlon.   However, most of my time was spent traveling and promoting the university through a group known as "New Reign", an acappella group (like Pentatonix) singing bass.  We traveled to most of the states, Canada, and even Japan performing at youth camps, conferences, churches, etc.  I was privileged to record three albums with them as well.  

My hobbies are singing with my church praise team, outdoors sports like hiking, archery, and cycling.  I was born and raised in Wyoming, loved being able to spend a lot of time in the mountain wilderness.  Competed in Football, Basketball, Track, and Baseball, as well as sang in the choir and played baritone and tuba in the Symphonic band.
