About Me

I grew up in Round Rock, Texas and graduated McNeil High School in Round Rock ISD. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Personal Financial Planning, top of my class in 2009. During college, I met my husband while living in northern California in 2007. We married in 2012. After college, I spent time working at a small investment brokerage firm and a large corporation in their financial planning department. I then entered the banking world as a personal banker for 3 years. My time spent assisting and teaching others about banking and financial literacy sparked my desire to become a teacher. I decided to go back to school to become certified and get my Masters in Secondary Education from Texas State University in their Teacher Recruitment Program. In that program, I was apart of an internship semester at McNeil High School and I also student taught at Georgetown High School. I graduated May 2017 and was blessed to join the Vista Ridge staff in Leander ISD.

My passion is teaching one child at a time to become responsible adults. I am excited to get to know your children and make meaningful steps towards their future. Some of my hobbies include running, baking, bird watching, yard work, cleaning & organizing all the things, and animal shows.
