Welcome! My name is Lexey Krause and I am very excited to be your child’s Reading Specialist. I absolutely love reading instruction and I know we will have a fabulous year a Camacho!
2025-2026 is my 26rd year of teaching. This is my 7th year in LISD. Prior to joining LISD, I taught in Round Rock ISD where I was a Dyslexia and Intervention Specialist for 9 years. Before that I was a Special Education teacher in RRISD and OCPS in Florida.
My husband and I are proud parents of 2 boys ages 19 & 23 & a one-eyed pug named Leo.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hiking , and reading.
Teaching is my passion, and I am thrilled to share my passion with the community.
