National Art Honor Society
First informational meeting is 8/28 during advocate! Please pick up a pass! Must have parent consent form signed on file to attend any future meetings.
New state law requires parent consent for students to be able to participate in any school club or organization.
Please fill out the form in the document provided below to consent your child to participate in any NAHS activities.
Meetings will generally be once a month, after school from 3:40pm - 4:15pm, in Mrs. Acevedo's room, mostly occurring on Mondays but may occur more often or have longer meeting times, during peak activities such as Trunk or Treat, Homecoming, and VASE competition season.
Please pay for your dues after you have confirmed minimal requirements have been met to apply for NAHS.

2026-2027 Minimum Application Requirements for Rouse NAHS
Applications for new membership in NAHS will be open on September 1st and close on October 16th.
There are pre-requisites that must be met prior to applying:
A Parent Consent Form must be signed for each student interested in joining the club.
.5 credit in visual art must have been earned prior to applying (National requirement). If the student earned high school art credit in middle school or at Rouse, the student qualifies to apply.
A weighted gpa of 3.5 or above. Note: entering freshmen who do not have a gpa, can still apply for membership, but may not be submitted into the national registry until the spring.
Students should also be actively involved in the arts (enrolled in an art class at Rouse, taking private art lessons, involved in tech theater, AV, fashion design, or a member of the art group at Rouse) to also be considered as this is a National ART Honor Society.
