Chemistry

Welcome to Chemistry!

As a proud product of Leander ISD, I’m excited to begin my 16th year teaching physical science in the district. This year, I’ll be teaching both Chemistry and Chemistry Advanced at Vista Ridge High School.

While I’ve had the opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics over the years, most of my experience and passion lie in Chemistry and Physics. I graduated from Cedar Park High School and went on to earn my science degree from The University of Texas at Austin 🤘🏼, where my interest in teaching was sparked through the UTeach program.

I began my teaching career at Rouse High School, where I taught science and served as the Head Swim Coach for 8 years. After taking a 3-year hiatus to stay home with my young kids, I returned to the classroom and have now been at Vista Ridge for 8 years. I’m looking forward to another incredible year of learning, experimenting, and building lasting memories with my students!
