Information for High School Transition
4 Year plans must be completed in Naviance and approved by parents- February 16, 2026
4 year plans are NOT course selection. It is just a plan or road map of what high school will look like for them over the next 4 years. However, students must put in courses for grades 9 - 12 in order for it to be an official 4 year plan. Students must select an endorsement and program of study as well. This plan is reviewed by their high school counselor each year.
8th grade visits to Rouse and Glenn High Schools- January 15, 2026
8th graders meet 1 on 1 with their high school counselors- January 26 & 27, 2026 to make course selections for 9th grade
Deadline for course selection for 9th grade- February 16, 2026
Course change request window is from February 17 to March 12, 2026 * This is a hard deadline, no exceptions.
