R.I.S.E. expectations are a key component to our PBIS framework at North Elementary. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is based on the principle that ALL children can learn appropriate behavior through modeling, reteaching, and social emotional learning (SEL) support. The goal of PBIS is to foster a positive climate and to promote behavioral and academic success. At North Elementary, we are very intentional about teaching our Navigators what Responsibility, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence look like on our campus so that they can live out these traits in a safe, supportive learning environment.
