Kelsey Rogoff was born and raised in East Los Angeles to a beautiful single mother and was a product of the local schools in her neighborhood. Upon graduation from high school, she ventured to the Bay area in Belmont, California to attend her first two years of college. After transferring back home in 2016, Ms. Rogoff finished her last two years studying Political Science with a minor in Nonprofits, Philanthropy and Volunteerism at the University of Southern California.
During her time as an undergrad, she discovered her passion for educational reform and policy and truly believes this movement begins inside the classroom. She joined Teach for America last May and currently, in the midst of her summer institute, developing her classroom skills to join LPS R&D this fall.
In her spare time, Ms. Rogoff enjoys CrossFitting, laughing, and beach days.
