Dylan Garcia spent his formative years in Southern California learning to play tennis and the drums. His love and interest in science led him to earning a B.S. in Geology from Cal State Fullerton. His research ranges from ancient tsunamis in California to landslides in Thailand. Mr. Garcia studied and taught environmental science at the University of New Mexico thereafter. Here he developed skills in curriculum development and active learning environments. Mr. Garcia has also worked with several non-profits including America on Track and the Santa Fe Children’s Museum as a science educator. In addition, he spent several years as a project associate and information technology specialist at an engineering firm. He is currently working towards his Master’s in Education and spends his free time acting, film making, and playing board games.
