Brenda Miranda-Gomez

Brenda Miranda-Gomez (Ms. MG) was born and raised in Riverside, CA. She graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Mathematics with a Teaching Concentration and later moved to Boston. In Boston, Ms. MG participated in the Match Teacher Residency (MTR), graduated from the Sposato Graduate School of Education with a masters in Effective Teaching, and taught Algebra 1 to students in East Boston and Chelsea.

Ms. MG enjoys working with youth of color and finding ways to support them develop their math identities. Ms. MG is also the head coach of the girl's soccer team and enjoys playing sports (soccer, rugby, olympic lifting and boxing).
