Ann Keller was raised in the Santa Cruz Mountains. She was led to teaching because in middle school she finally experienced success and she found it incredibly empowering. Ms. Keller fell in love with teaching in the Bay when she learned not all students have empowering educational experiences, but when they do, it can be world changing. She proudly says that she has spent every year of her life since age 5 in a public school classroom, on one side of the desk or the other. She taught 2 years Spanish Immersion History in Salem, Oregon but returned to her beloved city of San Francisco to teach middle school the last four years. There she has taught Spanish Immersion, ELD, English and US History. She is excited to make her home at LPS Oakland.
When she isn't teaching, she is purchasing borderline tacky accessories or sitting on the couch exploring a yoga schedule she’ll never actually utilize. Ms. Keller plays golf.
