Meet Mrs. Zine

Welcome friends, my name is Mrs. Zine. I have been a teacher for over twenty years, with most of my time being spent in first grade! I am thrilled to be your partner in this fantastic year of learning and discovery.  

Here are some fun facts about me: 

• I grew up on a beautiful 5-acre ranch called Windsong in Pleasanton, California. I spent my childhood days playing in the best treehouse ever and riding our Tennessee Walking Horses. We had many other animals too, including cattle, pigs, goats, turkeys, chickens, dogs, and cats.

• My best friend is my little sister, and she’s a high school art teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area.

• I graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with my BA and California Teaching Credential. While I was a student at SMC, I met and later married the man of my dreams.

• I am the proud mama of two sweetie-pie kids.

• I have one terrific Goldendoodle named Liberty.

• We love cheering for the Dodgers in our house. Freddie Freeman is my favorite player!
