Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the Lancaster City Schools Student Services Department. My name is Jennifer Woods, and I am proud to serve as the Director of Student Services.  It is both an honor and a privilege to support the well-being, growth, and success of every student in our district.

Our department is committed to meeting the diverse needs of all learners through a wide range of support services designed to remove barriers to learning and promote student success.  We oversee and coordinate programs and services such as:

• Federal Programs (Title I)

• Multi-Tiered Interventions (MTSS) (academic, behavioral, mental health support)

• School Counseling and Mental Health Supports

• Health Services and Nursing

• English Learner (EL) Services

• Homeless Student Support (District McKinney-Vento Liaison)

• Foster Care Support (District Liaison)

• Adjudicated Youth Services (District Liaison)

• Homebound Instruction

• Attendance and Truancy Intervention

• Crisis Intervention and Prevention

Our dedicated staff work closely with families, teachers, administrators, and community partners to ensure that every student, regardless of their individual challenges or circumstances, has access to a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
