High School Honors is a six-week residential, commuter, or online program in which students take Boston University undergraduate courses and earn up to 8 transferable college credits. Students must be entering their junior or senior year of high school in fall 2025.
Summer Journalism Academy Rising Juniors, Rising Seniors and current Seniors interested in journalism, writing, or photography can apply for the Boston University Summer Journalism Academy! This program, taught by award-winning journalists, offers hands-on experience in news reporting, writing, and visual storytelling. Students can choose between on-campus or online programs (June 16–July 14). Early applicants (by March 2) can save up to $400!
With over 300 courses available, Brown Pre-College provides you a range of opportunities to explore your passions and engage your potential. Brown University's Pre-College Program offers groupings of courses or academic programs that focus on an area of study.

In your application, you will be asked to share which academic programs you are interested in participating. That selection does not limit your choice in academic programs or courses. The only limitations to enrolling in the academic program or course of your choosing are eligibility based on age and grade level, any prerequisites listed in course descriptions, a student’s English language proficiency and whether the academic program or course has space available once a student is ready to enroll.

Summer Law and Trial Institute
Explore Justice- Free Program for High-Achieving, Rising High School Juniors and Seniors
Students will gain exposure, through immersive academic study and experiential learning, to the criminal justice system and to law and justice issues relevant to Southeast Ohio, especially access to justice.
The program will take place from July 7-18 2025. Note that the virtual sessions will run from July 7-11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. On July 13, participants will be required to come to Athens, Ohio, where they will stay for the week on campus. On July 18, the program will conclude by about 6 p.m.
The program is free of charge and fully scholarshipped. This program is made possible through generous alumni support. The views expressed herein do not necessarily represent those of the donors.
Requirements & Application
The deadline to apply for this selective program is May 31. Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis, so applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as admission is competitive. Admissions decisions for those outside Appalachian Ohio will not be made until after June 7.
Preference will be given to high achieving, rising high school juniors, seniors from Southeast Ohio, though outstanding sophomores and high school students outside Appalachian Ohio will be considered if space permits. Space is limited. Admissions decisions for those outside Appalachian Ohio will not be made until after June 2.
Application requirements:
An high school transcript is required; official or unofficial transcripts will be accepted. (Please reach out to Larry Hayman if obtaining your transcript is difficult due to the current situation.)
A 3.0 or higher GPA is preferred. (If you do not meet the 3.0 GPA requirement, please submit a 250-to 500-word essay explaining why you are a good candidate for the program and why your grades are not an accurate reflection of your ability.)

The Summer Scholars Program is a week-long summer experience for high-achieving high school students who will be juniors or seniors the following fall. This program provides experiential learning opportunities that will prepare you for college and future success. The Summer Scholars curriculum is built for active learners. Students participate in lively discussions, hands-on projects, and real-world experiences with our faculty.

Philosophy and Critical Thinking (PACT) Summer Camp
About the Camp
The Department of Philosophy at The Ohio State University is excited to invite students to apply to our Summer 2025 Camp for high school students: Philosophy and Critical Thinking (PACT).
This day camp introduces central themes in contemporary philosophy through discussion, fun activities, and guest lectures from Ohio State’s world-class faculty. This summer features two themes: Democracy and Justice (June 23-27), and Science, Faith and Reality (July 14-18). Tuition is $500, and includes lunch each day. Scholarships are available to those who qualify.
Applications are being accepted online now. We will be admitting campers beginning February 1, 2025, and continue to admit thereafter until our available spots are filled.

Pratt PreCollege is welcoming motivated high school students looking to gain new college-level skills during our Spring, Summer and Fall semesters.
Pratt PreCollege students explore creative careers and develop their artistic skills with support from experienced faculty. Courses allow students a unique opportunity to be immersed in the creative process and get a sneak peek into the undergraduate experience at Pratt Institute, during the summer on our gorgeous Brooklyn campus.

Portfolio Development Workshop (Online): Learn from the expert! Join Mike Barry, Associate Director of Admissions and artist, in an engaging, 3-hour workshop covering the ins and outs of what makes a compelling portfolio, what a complete application consists of, and the importance of a portfolio for students considering a career and education in art and design. This unique portfolio workshop aims to give students the tools to look critically at their work, set challenges, and develop meaningful practice as they cultivate their unique creative voice. Engage in a culminating live Q&A session for personalized advice and receive the tools to kickstart preparation for college admission.

PreCollege ELL Portfolio (Online): Do you know students looking to improve their English language skills with an interest in art, design, and architecture? These 30-hour online, noncredit classes for English Language Learners (ELL) run June 3 - July 3, 2024 from 8:00PM - 11:00PM EST. Classes are available in both Written Communication and Oral Communication - students are encouraged to enroll in both classes for a further immersive experience.
Online Summer Courses: Join us online from June 3 - July 3, 2024 in 1-credit and NonCredit classes. Credit-bearing classes are modeled after Pratt’s undergraduate curriculum and focus on specific areas of study across the Institute’s offerings such as Architecture, Graphic Design, and Painting and Drawing.

In-Person Summer PreCollege Program: Enroll in two, 2-credit classes from a list of 19 different concentrations! This immersive, 4-week program takes place on Pratt’s beautiful Brooklyn campus. Residential students live in Pratt residential halls and participate in extracurricular activities such as museum visits and artist lectures.

When you join teen online classes at Rhode Island School of Design, outstanding artists, designers and educators will lead you toward inspiring career paths and creative problem-solving skills. You will meet online weekly (via Zoom) where you will connect with other teen makers.
In Summer College, high school students can choose from over 100 college-level courses offered on campus, online or on location in one of our academic centers in New York City or Los Angeles. As a Summer College student, they will:
Build their resume or portfolio
Enhance their college applications so they stand out to college admissions
Test out a major before committing to their undergrad degree
Earn a Certificate of Completion and a Syracuse University credit or noncredit transcript
The scholarship deadline is March 1, 2025, and the final application deadline is May 1, 2025. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and courses fill quickly, so please encourage your students to apply soon!

The Summit STEM Fellowship is a virtual summer program taught by Harvard, Stanford, and MIT graduates. Through the program, students explore different opportunities and diverse career pathways in STEM. The fellowship is a flexible 10-15 hours/week commitment, allowing students to participate alongside other summer activities. Admissions are rolling, and students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Female Aspiring Business Scholars (FABS) Summer Program (for Rising 11th and 12th Graders)
FABS is an overnight camp offered by UD’s School of Business Administration that provides young women a weeklong immersion into business fundamentals and hands-on experience researching, designing and pitching a business plan with a team of fellow campers. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with faculty, staff and community business professionals while earning three hours of college credit.
Dates: June 22-25
Cost:
Early bird registration through March 15th: $250 (includes a discounted $50 nonrefundable deposit when you use code FabsEarlyBird at checkout).
Regular cost March 16th – May 16th: $300 (includes a $100 nonrefundable deposit).

Our FABS registration deadline is May 16. This camp has a limited capacity and will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
Summer Engineering Experiences at UD (SEE-UD)
SEE-UD camps offered by our School of Engineering provide students with an opportunity to explore the diverse fields of engineering and learn more about engineering at UD through interactive modules and hands-on lab experiences. At our three daylong camps on June 24, 25 and 26, participants will learn about a specific discipline of engineering while striving to solve some of the most prominent problems our world faces today, called the Grand Challenges of Engineering.
Dates: Each day features one or two engineering disciplines. Participants may attend multiple days if interested. On days with two disciplines, the sessions will run at the same time, and students will choose which session to attend.
June 16: Choose from Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
June 17: Engineering Technology
June 18: Choose from Electrical and Computer Engineering or Civil Engineering
Time: 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Lunch is included.)
Cost: $100 per day (Discounts available for students attending multiple days). Registration will close when camps are full.

Pharmacy Summer Camp is an overnight camp open to any high school student who will be either a junior or senior in high school in the fall of 2025. This four-day, three-night experience on campus gives students an opportunity to stay in a dorm and engage in hands-on activities with esteemed pharmacy students and faculty.
