General Safety Precautions

Health checks, including temperature, should be assessed at home before entering school or bus each morning.
The building will open at 7:15 each day and students will report directly to homeroom
Face Masks required for staff and students
Physical distancing guidelines followed with 6' separation when possible and at least 6' in classrooms
Hand sanitizer available in every classroom and common areas
Cafeteria space expanded and seating areas designated
No visitors or volunteers
No lockers in hallways
No shared student supplies
One-way hallways when possible
Breakfast will be grab and go

Adjusted Procedures

Breakfast/Lunch

Breakfast will be grab and go
6' distance at lunch
Students will eat in Cafe or gym
No lunch lines. Lunches will be brought to the student

Restrooms

Limited number of students at one time - based on number of stalls and sinks
Marked spots where students wait to enter the restroom

Clinic

All students and staff wear a mask while in the clinic
Limited numbers of students and spots to wait
Separate Clinic for students showing signs of illness

Class Change

One-way hallways (as able) and stairways clearly marked
No lockers
Classroom doors will remain open
Outdoor classroom spaces will be used when possible

Cleaning

Students will be assigned seats
Students and teachers will follow a classroom cleaning routine each period
High touch areas such as stair rails and door knobs will be cleaned during the day
Restrooms cleaned more frequently

Arrival/Dismissal

Building will not open until 7:15 each day. Buses, parents, and walkers should adjust their arrival time
Clearly marked entrances and exits for each grade level
Dismissal may be staggered for drivers, walkers and bus riders
