Teen Driving in Ohio:
In Ohio, obtaining a driver's license for teens involves navigating a phased process with specific requirements and restrictions.
Teens need to complete a driver's education course, pass a knowledge test, and accumulate driving experience.
Crash rates among Ohio drivers licensed at 16 and 17 years old who go through a driver's education program are 27% lower than those who wait until they are 18 years old to take the test without training.
In Ohio, 75 of the state’s 823 public high schools offer driver training courses in some form, Lancaster High School is one of them !!!
Why MOV Driver's Ed?
The Ohio Department of Public Safety in 2022 approved the Muskingum Ohio Valley Educational Service Driver Education program.
MOV currently has 30 school districts in the greater central/southern Ohio area participating in their program.
24 hour online course offers flexibility in completing.
8 hours of behind the wheel driving instruction evenings, weekends, and during day (as permitted) using the school's Gustobile !!!
The MOV Driver's Ed program is affordable, with payment options.
Additionally, Lancaster High School has scholarships available to qualifying students which may pay for part or all of the MOV fees.

Due to the popularity of the MOV Driver's Ed program, and so as to be able to provide timely scheduling of in car driving, we are limited to 50 students enrolled in the process at a time.
