[Troubleshooting]

Technology is great, but it also comes with the occasional glitch. There are two kinds of problems you may need to troubleshoot: Problems with Edgenuity malfunctioning and problems with your devices malfunctioning.

First steps to troubleshooting

  1. Attempt to resolve your issue yourself by double-checking your internet connection. Macs are notorious for showing a connection when in reality the device has lost its connection. The easiest way to see if the internet connection is the problem is to turn off your wifi on your device, wait ten seconds, then turn it on again.

  2. Check the home page of Edgenuity from your phone to see if there are any announcements regarding an outage. If you can access Edgenuity from your phone, you know the issue is with your computer.

  3. Clearing your cache is a simple process that often clears up many issues with assignments not opening, not advancing, or not submitting. You can google how to clear your cache for the device and browser you are using.

  4. The old-fashioned reboot. Simply powering down the device, waiting a few minutes, then powering back up often solves many problems as well.

  5. After you've done all of these things, if your problem still exists, simply go to the correct form below to submit a tech support ticket and inform your homeroom teacher.

If you are having problems with your device, please alert your teacher immediately. You teacher will attempt to help you troubleshoot the issue. In most cases, you will need to be available for a Google Meet or Facetime to troubleshoot with your teacher.

If the teacher cannot fix the issue, the teacher will submit a ticket to the tech department.

Note: To submit a ticket, the teacher will need specific information from the labels on the device as well as parent and student contact information. Please be sure you have your device with you when you ask a teacher to submit the IT ticket.
