About Pioneer Theatre

We are the theatre program at Heritage High School in Lynchburg, VA. We produce 3 mainstage productions, a competition one-act, and a theatre camp for LCS youth each year. We believe in the power of "team" and are proud to be a part of the Lynchburg Arts Community!

Mission: 

To engage Lynchburg City Schools' students and the Lynchburg community in high quality theatrical productions that promote critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creative thinking, and citizenship

To build an inclusive community of artists that fosters character development by encouraging continuous growth, promoting professionalism, maintaining high expectations, communicating effectively, and engaging in high quality instruction
