Why are we doing this?

The COVID-19 pandemic has created an opportunity for school leaders, educators, and those who serve in the public school system to work, function, and communicate in new ways. Our students and families deserve our absolute best and we want to be ready for whatever 2020-2021 school year could look like. Participating in professional learning is one of the best ways for LCS employees to grow, develop, and learn new things to serve our students and families now and in the future.

We hope that this choice board will help you grow in your practice by being able to have some say in what professional development you participate in to prepare for the 2020-21 school year. The minimum requirement is to complete 20 hours by the deadline for your group. Please document your professional learning on your work log with a brief reflection and a 1-5 star rating in the “Status” section of the log.
