Below you should find information dealing with all things graduation. This will be updated on a regular basis as more information becomes available. Graduation Day is June 2 @ 11:30 AM @ Lynchburg City Stadium.

SENIOR EXAMS

SENIOR DUES
Senior dues need to be paid before February 7th! They must be paid by the end of February in order to receive your cap and gown on time! Senior dues covers the cost of the graduation cap and gown, the senior t-shirt, and all related senior day and graduation events and activities.
It is $75!
You can pay by using myschoolbucks.com or in the main office via cash or make checks payable to HHS.

SENIOR DAY - MAY 17th
On May 17th we will have a Senior Awards Ceremony at 8 a.m. After the ceremony, seniors will participate in senior day where we will have fun activities planned for the students.
GRADUATION REHEARSAL
Graduation Rehearsal will May 30th at 12:30, this is MANDATORY for all seniors who will be walking in our graduation ceremony.
Students will be responsible for transportation to the practice and home.
GRADUATION REGALIA: CAP, GOWN, TASSLE, AND STOLE

Only school issued items can be worn during graduation. Any regalia received from CVGS, CVCC, and/or awards received under the auspices of any LCS can be worn.
The cost of all graduation regalia is included in the senior dues. Anything else that you order from Herff Jones, you will be responsible to pay them on the day of ordering. They request a down payment on the day of ordering. Each senior will have an ordering packet and will be required to AT LEAST order their cap and gowns the day of the HJ visit. This is so we make sure every student has a cap and gown for graduation.
Cap and Gown distribution will be Tuesday, 3/26 during lunch
All seniors should have paid their dues by this date in order to receive your cap and gown.

TICKETS FOR GRADUATION
At this time we will not require students to have tickets for graduation unless we have to move to an indoor facility.
Recommended Attire for Graduation
Boys should wear pants - dark or khaki, a button down shirt with a tie (Preferred).
Girls should wear dresses that are shorter than the gown. Shoes should be nude or dark colored. Please avoid high heels and/or stilettos as it is dangerous to walk on turf in those.
Decorating Your Cap
You are allowed to decorate your CAP!
It must not be vulgar, or have anything negative on it, it will be taken away on the day of graduation and replaced with a plain cap.
It should not be 3D, as there will be people behind you who need to see what is going on, 3D caps will also be replaced.
Graduation Stoles
You are not allowed to decorate your Stole
