The Jane Barringer Bowen Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to college bound senior for studies in Theater Art or English.
Terrell Osteen Fund Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2021 for students who attend City of Lynchburg school who plan to attend a public university located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, pursuing a career in education, engineering, healthcare, or veterinary science.
Kiger Scholarship
In 1996 family, friends, and school officials established the Troy Kiger Memorial Scholarship fund to honor Troy as a student - athlete and his dedication to the sport of Soccer. Troy played soccer with enthusiasm and team spirit. Education was important to Troy. He graduated from E.C. Glass High School and JMU and a first year student at the VCU School of Dentistry at the time of his death. To this date the scholarship has been awarded to twenty-three soccer athletes who have demonstrated integrity,
leadership, team spirit, athletic success, and academic excellence.
Beatrice & Roland Carter Scholarship Fund
Scholarships from this fund are awarded to artistic talent students who are going to a four year university or college.
Beth Johnson Boatner Scholarship Fund
The Beth Johnson Boatner Scholarship fund is administered by the Greater Lynchburg Community foundation and is providing an annual scholarship for a college-bound senior in need of financial assistance with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
E.F. & Elizabeth B. Burmahln Charitable Fund
The E.F. & Elizabeth B. Burmahln Charitable Fund, administered by the Greater Lynchburg Community foundation, provides an annual scholarship for a college-bound senior for study in Business.
Jill Gardner Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Jill Gardner Memorial Scholarship fund, administered by the Greater Lynchburg Community foundation, provides an annual scholarship for a college-bound senior who has artistic talent with formal instruction in art.
Lynchburg Area Ministerial Association Scholarship
The Lynchburg Area Ministerial Association scholarship is providing funds as an annual scholarship to a Senior pursuing a religious-affiliated career or ministry work.
