Welcome to Volunteer Legacy
In the summer of 2001, I did a mini publication on the AJHS varsity football program called Volunteer Legacy. I began working with several others in the fall of 2019 on updating the records that you saw on the back of the football program. But we wanted to do something similar for every sport so we have built this website for you.
The website was originally published on November 4, 2019. When we first started the website, we only had information on football. We now have all varsity sports on the site and some content for each sport. We've also added information on the school such as traditions and you can see all yearbook covers. If you see something that is wrong or see missing information, please reach out to me. I'll make the change or addition as soon as I can.
The goal is to have individual/team records, coaching history, series information, yearly results, yearly rosters, and yearly team pictures for each sport on the website. If you have any newspaper articles, team pictures or other information, please forward it to me. We also have social media accounts that you can follow. Any pictures or articles provided will go on the social media pages. Continue to review the site as we are adding information as it becomes available.
